Kona Hearts The Northwest Tune-Up

Kona Hearts The Northwest Tune-Up

Northwest Tune-Up isn’t your average bike festival. It’s a mix of bikes, music, beer, and art that only Bellingham could pull off, and this past weekend, it delivered.

We showed up with a solid lineup of demo bikes: Libre CRs, Hei Hei CRs, Remote 160 DLs, Ouroboros ALs, and Shonkys. From the moment the gates opened at Waterfront Park, riders were keen to swing a leg over something new.

From laid-back gravel spins to proper trail rides on the Galbraith trail network, the demo bikes stayed busy. Whether people were testing something totally different or just curious about The Kona Ride, it was great to see so many folks out pedaling and smiling (and melting a little).

Thanks to our friends at Wolf Tooth Components, every demo bike came kitted with a Morse Bottle Cage and an 85cc Encase pump loaded with tools. Clean, simple, and ready for whatever the trails threw at it.

As always, the best part was connecting with riders. We caught up with longtime Kona ambassadors, introduced new faces to the brand, and had a ton of great conversations about bikes, riding, and the shared challenge of finding the perfect tire pressure.

Big thanks to the crew at Northwest Tune-Up for throwing another stellar weekend. We’ll see you again next year, Bellingham.
